Event Description
Initial Sessions are one of the most important parts of Therapeutic Assessment, as they shape client-assessor alliance and determine the collaborative focus of all subsequent assessment sessions. In this 2-hour webinar, Dr. Finn will discuss the major goals and steps in Initial Sessions with adult clients, with a particular focus on how to build Epistemic Trust and help clients develop Assessment Questions. He will also review problems that commonly arise in Initial Sessions and how to handle them.
