Event Description
In this webinar, the three presenters will describe their experiences with an ultra-brief version of Therapeutic Assessment with Couples (Finn, 2015) including how the Consensus Rorschach is used as a potent Assessment Intervention Session (AIS) in the second meeting with the partners. We will describe the rationale and procedures of Ultra-brief Therapeutic Assessment with Couples (UB TA2) and illustrate how the Consensus Rorschach illuminates aspects of couples’ interactions of which they are unaware, and which are relevant to their relationship challenges. Each presenter will describe one case in detail and provide excerpts of the session using the Consensus Rorschach. We will end with some general thoughts about how TA can help couples, and discuss contraindications for the Ultra-brief protocol. There will be time at the end for questions and discussion from the audience.
